Suzanne Dunn is a ceramic artist and painter who works on the Mendocino Coast of California. She has a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute with additional studio education at CCA Oakland. Dunn also studied Art History at UCLA, and has worked as a curatorial assistant at SFAI and SFMOMA in San Francisco, and SMMOA in Santa Monica, CA. For several years she owned Seed Gallery, Hawaii. Dunn received her ceramics education at SFAI, DVC in Pleasant Hill, CA, and with Master Potter Shiro Otani. Currently Dunn shows and sells her paintings at Discovery Artists’ Collective in Gualala,CA. Dunn’s ceramic work is inspired by Mid Century forms and imagery. She does functional pottery as well as sculptural work. Her ceramic work has been shown in Hawaii as well as Davis, CA. 

Directions to Studio 9 at 39474 Leeward Road, The Sea Ranch. Heading South from Gualala, turn right on Leeward Spur, then left on Leeward Road. Watch for a tricky left turn to stay on Leeward Road, then find 39474 on the left. Watch for the Tour sign.
