Ceramics

The designs are restrained by my affinity towards minimalism. The composed shapes are simple, clean uncluttered objects. Penetration through the pieces brings lightness and balance to the work and a sort of emptiness. The focus of my work is on the basic elements.

The Ceramic Vessels I a create come from shapes influenced from my career in architecture, and the desire to create objects that are simple in design and posses the clarity in form that I have always been drawn to. The designs are restrained by my affinity towards minimalism. Guided by a commitment to essential elements and purity of forms, I have created vessels with the intentional use of structure to provide a framework to create a balance between solid and void.

Transparency serves as a lens, revealing the inner dialogue between material and light, while the voids disrupt conventional structural expectations. Together, these elements compose a minimalist narrative that transcends functionality, encouraging an appreciation for the purity of geometric pattern and the quiet elegance of non-utilitarian ceramics.
