Thirty-five years ago I joined a watercolor painting group. My heart was instantly captured by the process of creating art. I loved the feeling of being completely focused while creating beauty. I painted landscapes, animals, and flowers in my spare time while I worked and went to university.  In my thirst for more, I explored other materials. 

Although mostly self-taught, I took classes at local junior colleges for the more technical aspects of some mediums like welding and stained glass. I made cement statues. I worked with clay, hand-building sculptural, and functional pieces. Cycling through different mediums keeps my passion for creating strong. Currently, I am painting with acrylics and making small sculptural pieces.
