As a child I always made art. It was playful and fun.
It still is. It’s exciting to enter the portal of your own imagination and create a fantasy world with line, form, color. If I can see it in my mind’s eye, then I can translate my vision into paint so other people can see what I am thinking.
In the past, as an art teacher and art director, I worked with other artists, musicians, actors and photographers creating TV commercials and advertising campaigns. My background in advertising informed my view of the world: “Show what you know. Teach what you see.”
Now, I work and live in a nurturing environment, The Sea Ranch. The forested trails that connect with cliffs over a wild shoreline and ocean influence my work; painting and drawing about this place and the people in it. Inside and out.

Highway 1 to Halcyon, east to Deer Trail. Go north 1 block to Screech Owl - turn left and proceed 1/2 down block to house on right.
